The calculation is the process of preparing a settlement transaction, that is, the procedure for comparing data on concluded legal transactions with securities, calculating settlement obligations and determining deadlines for settling liabilities.

Settlement means the execution of obligations arising from transactions concluded at the stock exchange, ie the transfer of securities accompanied by the transfer of funds.

The transfer of securities and money by clearing and settlement of transactions performed on the stock exchange and other regulated public market is done simultaneously according to the delivery versus payment.

The settlement of securities is done on a gross basis, that is, at the level of the end seller and the end customer.

The settlement of money is done on a net principle, or at the level of a member of the Central Registry.

The settlement of securities and money on the basis of transactions concluded on the stock exchange is performed on the day T + 2.

The settlement of transactions concluded on the money market is performed on the day T + 0.

The Central Registry, clearing and settlement of transactions with securities is performed on the basis of the report on concluded transactions submitted by the stock exchange on the trading day.

The execution of monetary obligations from transactions concluded at the stock exchange is performed through a special account of the Central Registry opened at the Central Bank.

Securities settlement is done by transferring securities from the seller's account directly to the buyer's account. When securities are recorded on the buyer's account, transactions are considered final.
